Twenty One years ago, JC Penney and other sponsors partnered to present the first annual VISIONS: The Women's Expo. Seventy business "pioneers" exhibited at this inaugural event because they recognized the benefits of marketing to women, key decision makers for their products and services, in a non-threatening, interactive environment. Hundreds of women attended the first event for shopping, inspiration and fun. They came from all over Texas and were impacted professionally, personally, emotionally, spiritually and physically by the information and resources provided by the companies represented. In fact, some of our present exhibitors were attendees at the first VISIONS and were inspired to start their businesses by what they experienced 21 years ago.

VISIONS has become one of the largest events catering to women in the Southwest. Over the past 21 years, thousands of companies who have skillfully utilized VISIONS, have found it invaluable for their marketing and sales. Research indicates women make over 80 percent of purchasing decisions for their households. However, it is becoming more and more difficult to deliver a message in every form of media. Face-to-face marketing and sales is still the most effective way to engage women because they will always have a need to see, touch, feel and smell before they buy. Thousands of women now choose to attend VISIONS, making it the ideal environment to sell a product, gather leads or simply expose a new concept.
